Bogus Performance Horses is located along Interstate Rt. 219 in the mountains of Carrolltown in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.  Our facility includes indoor and outdoor arenas, show barn with 11 heated stalls and up to 11 other available training stalls, foaling stalls, wash bay, and feed/tack room.  

    Here at Bogus Performance Horses, we can provide a wide variety of services including lessons, showing, sales, breeding, and training for AQHA, NSBA, APHA, and ApHC competition.  Clinic and judging services are also available.  We specialize in training for yearling lunge line and our motto is "futurity horses with a future".  We can fit and train horses for halter, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, showmanship, horsemanship, equitation, trail, lunge line, 2 and 3 year old snaffle bit futurities.  

    Our horses and customers have had great success in the show ring.  Horses trained or raised here at Bogus Performance Horses have been Congress Reserve Champions, Top Fives, Top Tens, Finalists, AQHA World Show Qualifiers, AQHA Superiors and ROMs, Tom Powers Futurity Top Fives and Top Tens, Region 5 Champions, Circuit Champions, All-Around Champions, and Futurity Winners in Open, Non-pro, Amateur, Youth and Novice divisions.

    Bogus Performance Horses is also home of Krymsun Happens, a 2004 brown stallion by One Hot Krymsun.  2008 was his first year in the breeding shed and "Mick" was bred to a small number of outstanding show mares.  His first foals just hit the ground in 2009, and we are beyond pleased with the 2010 crop as well.  "Mick" is a pleasure to work with and is still out in he arena and showing.  His latest accomplishments include top five placings at the 2010 Quarter Horse Congress in the Amateur Performance Stallion Halter.  Please view the "Krymsun Happens" page for more information on this up and coming stallion.

    Because of our new venture as stallion owners, we are now offering full mare care and foaling at our facility, with around the clock care and state of the art camera systems to ensure that your investment is properly managed.
